697 Interior/Exterior 100% Acrylic Satin Killer/Bonding Primer

 #697 Stain Killer is a premium primer designed to block water, smoke, ink, crayon, magic marker, grease and tannin stains on interior applications, and cedar or redwood tannin stains on exterior applications. This product is fast drying, has outstanding hiding, sands easily and can be topcoated with either latex or solvent based paint. This product will require two coats to block heavy interior water stains or exterior tannin stains. Before proceeding with an entire job, it is recommended to test a small area to make certain a bleed through does not occur. To ensure optimum stain blocking power, a four (4) hour dry time is also recommended between coats. Severely stained surfaces may require oil-based coatings or shellac. #697 also has exceptional built-in bonding strength as well as alkali and efflorescence resistance for masonry.
