1107 Acrylic Siloxane

Tuff-Boy #1107 is a breathable water repellent that combines micronized acrylic and siloxane resins that penetrate into the sub-surface of concrete or masonry to bind the substrate down and impart excellent water repellency. By preventing water from entering into the substrate, #1107 will help protect masonry substrates against spalling, cracking, efflorescence, and other types of damage typically caused by water intrusion. #1107 is excellent for reinforcing the surfaces of old brick and mortar that have been damaged by repeated cycles of freezing and thawing and helping to prevent water intrusion through the mortar. #1107 will also minimize the leaching and migration of typical masonry discolorants such as calcium, sodium, and potassium salts. #1107 is easy to apply, low odor, and low VOC*.
